So the kid who I am playing this week has Kyle Orton and Romo as his QBs. Orton is on a bye and it looks like Romo wont be playing, and he has not picked up anyone else yet. We have a 3 day waiver wire policy. So do I play dirty, and pick up and drop every possible starting QB tomorrow, so they are stuck in no mans land, and he has to face me without a QB, or do I take the high road, and allow him to pick up a Bulger or Derek Anderson???

lol

the dirty tactics always come back to haunt u. i traded someone a few years ago ricky williams that played for the colts i think. but the guy i traded him too he didnt pay attention and thought it was ricky williams from the saints lol so i got marshall faulk and now every year my number 1 pick always gets injured?? its like im cursed

this year i picked tom brady
last year it was larry johnson
2006 it was shaun alexander
then daunte culpepper, marshall faulk,

so my recommendation is just beat em straight up

its fair game, of course the people you drop to pick up the qbs could end up on someone else's team but if your willing to take that risk then fairs fair...

It's legal, but I'd say it's dirty. It's kinda like plowing over the punter on a punt return even though your returner is 10 yards past everyone and easily going to score. Legal, but a dick move. Personally I'd avoid it.

This is why well ran leagues have minimums on number of moves you are allowed to make. Also isnt there a limit to your bench players? Who will you drop to pick up every possible starting QB?

I honestly don't see anything wrong with it. I'm a competitive person so I always play to win, and if it is allowed under the rules I don't see why you couldn't do it.

The problem I see is the fact that you'll have to drop some good players to get the QB's. It sounds to me like you'd have to drop your whole bench to get the QB's and hope you can get the bench guys back after when you go to drop the QB's again. Might be a risk, but I don't know the full rules so maybe that is avoidable.

Guys, all I have to do is pickup a qb, drop a qb, pick up a qb, then drop the qb i Just picked up. The qb's dont have to be on my team. I just have to pick them up and then once i drop them they go on the waiver wire. So none of the qb's will actually be on my team, instead they will all be in free agency, but due to the 3 day grace period, no one will be able to pick them up until monday.

o then yea that would make you a dirty angle shooting d-bag, just dropping guys for the qbs is ok, doing that crosses a line

interesting question, I'm sure some would do it. Your league should look into making this illegal or changing the rules somehow so it can't be done.

Ok, so I decided to only be semi-asshole, pick up and drop Derek Anderson and Bulger, and I'll leave him with Joe Flacco, Jamarcus Russell, Orvolosky, FitzPatrick, and Thigpen.

The mr mark play is a real cheap move and I wouldn't play in a league with someone like that.

In your case, the guy should pay attention and pick someone up earlier and not. Some people also never want to drop other players and carry an extra qb so in my view they should pay for wanting to hold onto there 4th rb.

PS - Not sure if anyone here has played before but you would only need to drop one player, then drop the qb you just picked up and pick up the next guy, etc, etc.........wow

it was a league with friends and no money involved so we all got a kick out of it. the guy i traded him too was a huge ricky williams fan so he got too excited and clicked accept as soon as he saw it. lol we still laugh about it to this day

WRONG. No well run league has a cap on moves made. This is a foul move and yes I realize this a few weeks old. No league should have a waiver wait IMO if one team doesn't want a player the other team should have a chance at him. You should never penalize a player for trying too hard only one that isn't trying.
